Pingcoin ChatGPT plugin privacy
Updated October 3, 2026
This notice covers the Pingcoin plugin and its hosted coin-sound verifier. It is separate from the Pingcoin mobile app, which has a different audio-processing design.
Audio and coin selections
When you submit a recording, the plugin sends the audio and selected coin variant to Pingcoin's server hosted by Cloudflare. For a ChatGPT attachment, the server downloads the recording using the attachment link supplied by ChatGPT. The server decodes the audio, compares its frequencies with Pingcoin's reference data, and returns the result to the interface and ChatGPT.
Recordings are processed transiently in memory. This deployment does not save audio files, record audio in application logs, or maintain a database of recordings or results. Memory is released after processing; this is not a guarantee of cryptographic erasure. Do not record conversations or other personal information: only a short coin ping is needed.
Other data and service providers
No Pingcoin account is required. The plugin retrieves public reference data and coin images from Pingcoin. It does not add advertising trackers or analytics SDKs. Cloudflare processes network requests to host and protect the service; operational information such as IP addresses, request times, and errors may be processed under its policies. ChatGPT processes your conversation, attachments, tool calls, and results under OpenAI's policies and your account settings. This notice does not change either provider's retention practices.

Your choices
Microphone access requires your browser or host's permission. You can stop recording, revoke microphone access, or upload a file instead. You can disconnect the plugin and manage conversations and attachments through ChatGPT. Since this deployment keeps no recording database, it has no stored Pingcoin audio history to retrieve or delete.
